Anne Hathaway for Tod’s Signature Collection Fall Campaign

Love Tod's and Anne Hathaway so imagine my delight when I discovered Anne Hathaway is the face of Italian Accessories Brand TOD’s new Signature Handbags Collection, photographed by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, styled by Karl Templer and under the creative direction of Fabien Baron.

The campaign is aiming to reach a younger clientele with color ranges from vivid red, electric blue, violet and fuchsia to more subtle shades of lavender, beige and cream.

The Signature Collection, will be officially launched in Paris on October 1, during Fashion Week, and be available in stores from that month.

The campaign for TOD'S was shot in London while Anne was in the capital to film her role as Catwoman in Christopher Nolan's third Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises.

A casual look

Fabien Baron, creative director of the shoot for TOD'S said the 'stunningly exquisite' Anne, 28, was chosen to front the campaign because she's 'a classic beauty with a modern Italian edge - feminine and strong.'

The Devil Wears Prada star said she 'very excited' to be the face of the Italian designers new collection.

'These are bags that age with you and never let you down,' she said. 'The designs are classic and the materials are of the highest quality. As a result, they don't grow older, they only grow better just like a woman.'

The Signature Collection will be in stores worldwide from October

Thursday Friday Company now knocking off Chanel!

It is no secret that Delortae Agency is committed to brand protection, designers copyright and trademark infringement. Our Authentication Service is recommended by Major Brand Houses, PayPal, law enforcement, Trading Standards, Office of Fair Trading, small claim courts, respected auction houses, insurance and credit card companies.

It appears they are at it again, those eco-friendly canvas tote screening company are launching a new range of knock offs, this time Chanel is in their sights.

Remember they were at the centre of the Hermes sues Thursday Friday saga it seems they are not content to leave it there, they have launched a range of the Chanel toes.

Thursday Friday will unveil their newest potential canvas controversy, the “Diamond Together bag” collection, which looks a amazingly like an original quilted Chanel bag.

The launch will incorporate a regular “Together bag” ($65) an even roomier tote, the “Super Together bag” ($95) , a blown-up version of the original Together tote, plus a line of smaller bags, “Here wallets” ($35), with key chains made of fox fur, seen below.

Here’s your Thursday Friday refresher course, in case you’re not familiar:
First, there was the Thursday Friday Together bag--a canvas tote donning a screen print of an Hermès Birkin. They got sued by Hermès for copyright infringement.

Then came the Thursday Friday Braids Together bag that looked exactly like a signature Miu Miu bag. Thanks in large part to the huge amount of publicity the Hermès lawsuit got, the totes.

And finally, last week, Thursday Friday discovered that Indian company Sudesh Art was selling knocked-off versions of their knockoffs on eBay. Oh, the irony.

If, after all of this, you’re wondering where you can get yourself one: the Diamonds Together bags will be available tomorrow at Thursday Friday.

Better act fast: we have a feeling Chanel isn’t going to put up with this for long.

There Is Now A Knockoff Of The Thursday Friday Birkin Knockoff:

From left: Thursday Friday’s “Together Bag” and the knockoff “Together Tote,” found on eBay

Thursday Friday, the company who was sued by Hermès for their replica tote bag (pictured left), has found replicas of their own bags on eBay UK.

While the article provided no photograph of the alleged knocked-off knockoffs, we did some research of our own and found not only a photo of the New Delhi-manufactured totes, but also their US eBay listing.

Produced by a company named “Sudesh Art,” the bags are sold as three “Together Totes” (by contrast, Thursday Friday’s are called “Together Bags”) for $39.99—a steal compared to Thursday
Friday’s $65 price for a single handbag.

According to WWD, Thursday Friday has contacted eBay in hopes of having the listings removed, but no word as of yet to if they will be. What next I hear you ask, what about Thursday Friday's latest replica tote of the Miu Miu.

Thursday Friday’s Latest Designer Replica Bag With A Wait List? The Miu Miu Tote

Who knew that even designer replica bags have wait lists. But leave it to Thursday Friday—the Los Angeles-based handbag company famous for screen-printing images of iconic designer bags onto canvas totes—to set the bar high. After all, the brand was sued by Hermès earlier this year for using the Birkin image in a way that was allegedly “confusing, misleading, and deceiving the public” (the case was finally settled earlier this month). Now, Thursday Friday is back with a line of Miu Miu-inspired canvas totes and make-up bags, which are already on back order until at least July. And just in case Miu Miu doesn’t take the “sincerest form of flattery” route, you’d better add your name to the wait list before the legal claws come out.

Thursday Friday bags range from $25 – $65 and can be purchased online here on Thursday Friday’s website. content thank you to SheFinds.

Hermes Sues Company Thursday Friday For Replicating Birkins On Their Totes

Well it appears Hermes are not best pleased with the LA canvas tote screening eco friendly company putting their image on their bags and are suing them.

The law suit filed in the courts, accuse Thursday Friday by Hermes "Thursday Friday is 'riding on their reputation' and 'confusing, misleading, and deceiving the public.'"

Hermes argued that their trademark was being infringed by showing the loop and the padlock and how the design hanging off one handle is their signature trademark (more than that but this is the layman's version)

Thursday Friday however felt that the bag is cotton and not really a 'working' model basically nothing had been infringed (again, layman's version of events).

The court appeared to agree with Hermes stating 'complaint adequately alleges a legally sufficient claim for relief'.on this one and both parties have agreed to settle.

They do not appear to have learnt their lesson if this is anything to go by, What They Did Next

Well as a real Hermes is costing from £5,000 and a Thursday Friday tote is around £35 I have to think that is there a real possibility of me getting confused spending £35 and believing I have an authentic Hermes Birkin, me thinks not!
