Burberry Opens in Hong Kong its Largest Store in Asia-Pacific

Burberry Asia Flag Ship Store

Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey hosted an event to celebrate the opening of the new Burberry flagship store in Hong Kong, the brand's largest store in the Asia Pacific region. Over 500 guests attended the event at the Pacific Place store on Nov 2, 2012, including British actress and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley 25, stepped out in a white and copper strapless cocktail dress from Burberry Prorsum’s spring 2013 collection. The cocktail dress from Burberry Prorsum's spring 2012 collection carried a red beaded box clutch bag and cap-toe court shoes.

The British label's head designer, Christopher Bailey, posed happily with his guest of honour. The Victoria's Secret model had been keeping long-term boyfriend Jason Statham company on the set of Homefront.

Spanning 21,500 sqft over two floors, the store at Pacific Place Mall is the brand's largest in Asia Pacific and the third largest in the world, after its 44,000 sqft store on Regent Street in London and 24,000 sqft store in New York.

The flagship store features a facade built of crystal and a freestanding marble staircase inspired by its World Live flagship on Regent Street. It also brings the digital experience into the physical space, very much like its London flagship store.

The Pacific Place Mall is Burberry's largest store in Asia-Pacific to date.
